QVIC facilitates collaborative opportunities between Vietnamese Startups and Qualcomm Corporation with the aim of developing innovations and realize Industry 4.0 policy and “Make in Vietnam” objectives.

About the Qualcomm® Vietnam Innovation Challenge

Developing innovations and realize Industry 4.0 policy and “Make in Vietnam” objectives.

Qualcomm® Vietnam Innovation Challenge 2027 is a single cycle incubation program that will run from October 2026 to September 2027.

  • Application Phase (October to December 2026): Open application period for online submission of ideas/products.
  • Shortlist (January to February 2027): Up to 30 teams/projects will be selected from the pool of eligible applicants.
  • Incubation and Accelerating Phase (March 2027 to August 2027): Shortlisted companies/projects will be supported through an incubation period including seminars from subject matter experts, technical support from Qualcomm Technologies, and assistance from Intellectual Property specialists. The goal of incubation is to develop commercially ready products or functional prototypes on the path to commercialization and accelerating IP awareness, patent filing in Vietnam innovation ecosystem.
    • Phase 1 (March 2027 to May 2027): Up to 30 teams/projects will receive professional training in Intellectual Properties, Business Training and Coaching with supportive incentives for IP filing up to USD $2,500 each patent submitted.
    • Phase 2 (May 2027 to August 2027): Top 15 startups will be provided with a grant of USD $5,000, IP filing up to USD $2,500 each patent submitted, and/or access to Qualcomm living labs for the universities to support product incubation and development. Shortlisted companies will be featured in our PR and related activities to promote QVIC.
  • Demo Day (August 2027): Top 15 will join the product demo exhibition and the top 5 finalists will be selected by a jury comprising representatives from Qualcomm and/or industry partners to a USD $15,000 performance grant each in recognition of their outstanding work and the market potential of their solution.

Thử thách đổi mới sáng tạo Qualcomm Vietnam 2027 là bắt đầu từ tháng 10 năm 2026 đến tháng 9 năm 2027.

  • Giai đoạn nộp hồ sơ (từ 10/2026 đến 12/2026): Nộp đơn đăng ký trực tuyến cho chương trình tại website.
  • Vòng sơ tuyển (từ 01/2027 đến 02/2027): Tối đa 30 đội/dự án sẽ được chọn từ các hồ sơ hợp lệ
  • Giai đoạn ươm tạo và tăng tốc (từ 03/2027 đến 08/2027): Các công ty lọt vào danh sách sẽ được hỗ trợ thông qua giai đoạn ươm tạo bao gồm hội thảo từ các chuyên gia theo từng chủ đề, hỗ trợ kỹ thuật từ Qualcomm Technologies và đào tạo, hỗ trợ tư vấn về Sở hữu trí tuệ. Mục tiêu của việc ươm tạo là phát triển các sản phẩm có sẵn hoặc các mẫu sản phẩm mới có thêm chức năng trên con đường thương mại hóa ra thị trường.
    • Giai đoạn 1 (từ 03/2027 đến 05/2027): Tối đa 30 đội/dự án hàng đầu sẽ được đào tạo chuyên sâu về Sở hữu trí tuệ, tư vấn và kết nối kinh doanh, cùng với các ưu đãi hỗ trợ cho việc đăng ký quyền sở hữu trí tuệ lên đến 2.500 USD cho mỗi đơn nộp cấp bằng sáng chế
    • Giai đoạn 2 (từ 05/2027 đến 08/2027): 15 công ty khởi nghiệp hàng đầu sẽ được cấp khoản tài trợ 5.000 USD cùng gói hỗ trợ cho việc đăng ký quyền sở hữu trí tuệ lên đến 2.500 USD mỗi đơn nộp và/hoặc quyền truy cập vào phòng thí nghiệm Qualcomm dành cho các trường đại học để hỗ trợ việc ươm tạo và phát triển sản phẩm. Các công ty được chọn sẽ được giới thiệu trong các hoạt động truyền thông và quảng bá liên quan nhằm thúc đẩy chương trình.
  • Triển lãm giải pháp (tháng 08/2027): 15 đội xuất sắc nhất sẽ tham gia triển lãm trình diễn sản phẩm, và hội đồng giám khảo gồm đại diện của Qualcomm và/hoặc các đối tác trong ngành sẽ lựa chọn 5 đội vào vòng chung kết xuất sắc nhất. Mỗi đội sẽ nhận khoản tài trợ theo kết quả hoạt động trị giá 15.000 USD nhằm ghi nhận thành tích nổi bật và tiềm năng thị trường của giải pháp.

QVIC 2027 provides financial incentives and development support to help selected startups and projects strengthen their intellectual property, advance product development, and accelerate commercialization.

  • Incubation Phase (Top 30): Patent filing incentives of up to USD 2,500 per eligible team.
  • Accelerating Phase (Top 15): Patent filing incentives of up to USD 2,500, along with a USD 5,000 program grant.
  • Showcase Day (Top 5): Each selected startup will receive a USD 15,000 performance grant.

In addition to financial support, selected teams may receive technical and hardware assistance, intellectual property training, and opportunities to showcase their solutions at InnoEx.

Note: Financial support is subject to program terms, eligibility requirements, and the final confirmation of the organizers.

QVIC 2027 cung cấp các khoản hỗ trợ tài chính và nguồn lực phát triển nhằm giúp các startup và dự án được lựa chọn hoàn thiện tài sản trí tuệ, phát triển sản phẩm và đẩy nhanh quá trình thương mại hóa.

  • Giai đoạn ươm tạo (Top 30): Hỗ trợ chi phí đăng ký sáng chế lên đến 2.500 USD cho mỗi đội đủ điều kiện.
  • Giai đoạn tăng tốc (Top 15): Hỗ trợ chi phí đăng ký sáng chế lên đến 2.500 USD, cùng khoản tài trợ chương trình trị giá 5.000 USD.
  • Showcase Day (Top 5): Mỗi startup được lựa chọn sẽ nhận khoản tài trợ thành tích trị giá 15.000 USD.

Bên cạnh hỗ trợ tài chính, các đội được lựa chọn còn có thể nhận hỗ trợ kỹ thuật và phần cứng, tham gia đào tạo về sở hữu trí tuệ và có cơ hội giới thiệu giải pháp tại InnoEx.

Qualcomm Technologies will reimburse up to USD $5,000 in expenses incurred by shortlisted companies for utility patent applications filed with either the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) or the Intellectual Property Office of Vietnam which relate to proposals for QVIC.

Qualcomm Technologies sẽ hỗ trợ lên đến 5.000 đô la Mỹ cho các hồ sơ đăng ký bằng sáng chế được nộp cho Cơ quan Sáng chế và Nhãn hiệu Hoa Kỳ (USPTO) hoặc Văn phòng Sở hữu Trí tuệ Việt Nam liên quan đến các giải pháp đề xuất trong chương trình QVIC

Qualcomm Technologies will provide workshops and training on a range of topics such as operations, customer development, competitive analysis, product management, global market entry strategy, mastering the pitch, intellectual property, and fundraising. Frequent coaching and mentoring sessions from subject matter experts in these areas will be provided free of charge to shortlisted startups.

Qualcomm Technologies sẽ cung cấp các hội thảo và đào tạo về một loạt các chủ đề như hoạt động, phát triển khách hàng, phân tích cạnh tranh, quản lý sản phẩm, chiến lược thâm nhập thị trường toàn cầu, thuyết trình sản phẩm, sở hữu trí tuệ và gây quỹ. Các buổi huấn luyện và cố vấn thường xuyên từ các chuyên gia sẽ được miễn phí dành cho các Dự án nằm trong vòng Bán kết/Chung kết.

Qualcomm Technologies will offer technical support to shortlisted startups at no additional cost (at phase 2), which will include business and technical guidance, access to our lab in Hanoi, as well as problem-solving support from our local teams. Lab capabilities include ML/AI enablement, camera lab, audio lab, RF chamber, thermal, and modem troubleshooting.

Qualcomm Technologies sẽ cung cấp hỗ trợ kỹ thuật cho các startup được lựa chọn vào Vòng 2 mà không phát sinh thêm chi phí. Hỗ trợ này bao gồm tư vấn chiến lược kinh doanh và kỹ thuật, quyền truy cập vào Phòng thí nghiệm của chúng tôi tại Hà Nội, cùng sự hỗ trợ xử lý vấn đề từ đội ngũ chuyên gia địa phương. Năng lực của Phòng thí nghiệm có thể kể đến như: hỗ trợ phát triển Máy học/Trí tuệ nhân tạo (ML/AI), phòng lab camera, phòng lab âm thanh, buồng đo RF (sóng vô tuyến), đo nhiệt và xử lý sự cố modem.
